Civil Engineer

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Civil Engineer to manage and supervise civil construction, maintenance, repair, and infrastructure-related activities within the manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating civil works, monitoring contractors, maintaining factory infrastructure, ensuring work quality, and completing projects within the planned time and budget.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor day-to-day civil maintenance and construction activities.
• Handle civil works related to factory buildings, offices, production areas, warehouses, roads, drainage, flooring, and other infrastructure.
• Inspect existing structures and identify repair and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare estimates and material requirements for civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and external agencies for civil works.
• Supervise contractors and workers at the site and ensure work is completed as per requirements.
• Monitor the quality of construction and repair work.
• Ensure civil work is completed within the scheduled time.
• Check measurements of completed works and verify contractor bills.
• Coordinate with Purchase for procurement of civil construction materials.
• Monitor the usage of materials and avoid unnecessary wastage.
• Maintain records of civil maintenance activities, projects, measurements, and expenses.
• Prepare basic reports regarding ongoing and completed civil works.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, and Administration departments for infrastructure requirements.
• Handle repair and maintenance of factory flooring, walls, roofs, doors, windows, drainage, and other civil structures.
• Coordinate civil works required for machine foundations, equipment installation areas, and production expansion projects.
• Monitor housekeeping and safety around civil work areas.
• Ensure contractors follow company safety procedures while carrying out work.
• Identify potential infrastructure issues and recommend corrective actions to management.
