Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Hospital project/maintenance experience will be an added advantage.
• Supervise and monitor all civil construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance work.
• Inspect hospital buildings, walls, ceilings, flooring, plumbing-related civil work, drainage, and other structural areas.
• Identify civil defects, damages, leakage, cracks, seepage, and maintenance requirements and arrange timely rectification.
• Prepare estimates, material requirements, BOQs, and work schedules for civil projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and other agencies for civil works.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship and ensure work is completed as per approved specifications.
• Verify measurements and bills submitted by contractors and recommend them for approval.
• Ensure proper site supervision and adherence to safety requirements during construction and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate civil works with Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Biomedical, Fire & Safety, and other departments to avoid disruption to hospital operations.
• Plan and supervise renovation and modification works in OPD, wards, ICU, OT, offices, laboratories, stores, and other hospital areas.
• Maintain records of civil maintenance work, projects, measurements, estimates, drawings, and contractor details.
• Ensure minimum disturbance to patients, visitors, and hospital operations during civil work.
• Support hospital infrastructure projects and expansion/construction activities.
• Conduct regular inspection of hospital premises and prepare preventive maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with Administration and Facility Management for urgent civil maintenance complaints.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety requirements and applicable statutory/NABH-related infrastructure standards.
• Monitor housekeeping of construction/repair sites and ensure proper disposal of construction debris.
• Maintain updated records of ongoing and completed civil works.
• Provide regular reports to the reporting manager regarding work progress, pending issues, and maintenance requirements.
• Handle any other civil engineering, facility, or administrative work assigned by the management.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
