CIVIL ENGINEER

Key responsibilities

• Planning, coordination and supervision of daily construction activities on site.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and construction programme.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, consultants and other relevant parties.
• Check construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies or site coordination issues
• Assist with site inspections and ensure works meet required quality and workmanship standards
• Monitor subcontractors' progress, manpower and work activities
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues
• Coordinate consultant inspections and follow up on rectification works
• Prepare daily site records, progress updates and other site documentation as required
• Ensure site activities comply with safety and project requirements

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Willing to learn and able to work in a fast-paced site environment
• Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage due to coordination with Mandarin-speaking management, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Must have own laptop
