Civil Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Civil Engineer to oversee on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with engineering specifications, codes, and budget constraints. The Site Civil Engineer acts as the key technical link between design engineers, site contractors, quality control teams, and project management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred (or regional equivalent like Licensed Civil Engineer).
• 2–5 years of hands-on site construction experience in civil infrastructure, residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with structural drawings, civil plans, and local building codes.
• Oversee site preparation, earthworks, foundations, concrete pouring, drainage, and utility installations.
• Maintain daily site logs documenting labor count, equipment usage, weather delays, material deliveries, and work completed.
• Resolve technical site issues, submitting Requests for Information (RFIs) to design engineers when plan discrepancies occur.
