Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and review civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed plans, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction drawings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify discrepancies and coordinate required changes.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at site.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Take site measurements and prepare as-built drawings.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, material calculations, and project documentation.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
• Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, inspections, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE construction standards, authority requirements, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil engineering/construction experience preferred.
• UAE project experience is must.
• Good knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
