Job Description – Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate civil and structural works on site.
• Monitor construction progress, quality and workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Resolve site issues and coordinate necessary technical solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Monitor materials, resources and construction schedules.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and relevant documentation.
• Assist with inspections, testing and project handover.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in building or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of civil and structural construction works.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage site activities.
• Good command of English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
