Job Summary

Darkglobe Middle East LLC is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with 3–5 years of UAE experience in construction, preferably specializing in façade, metal cladding, and roofing systems. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of standing seam roofing systems, external building envelopes, and metal façade installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site activities related to metal cladding, façade, and roofing system installations.
• Monitor the installation of standing seam roofing systems, metal roof panels, and external façade cladding.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure all installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and quality control teams.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, manpower, and installation schedules.
• Identify technical issues on-site and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Assist in preparing material submittals, technical submissions, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, project safety requirements, and site procedures.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant UAE construction experience.
• Experience in metal cladding, standing seam roofing systems, and façade installation is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of external building envelope systems and metal roofing applications.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and coordination with consultants and main contractors.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas will be given preference:

• Standing seam metal roofing systems.
• Metal roof panels and roof cladding installation.
• External building façade and metal cladding systems.
• Building envelope and waterproofing coordination.
• Shop drawing review and site execution.
• Quality inspections and coordination with consultants.
