Civil Engineer

About the role

CNR Construction Services is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions that serve our clients and communities. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive project success.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies and technical drawings
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate project requirements and site conditions
• Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met efficiently
• Monitor project progress and conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and safety requirements
• Manage documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during project implementation
• Identify and resolve engineering challenges using innovative and cost-effective solutions
• Maintain accurate records of project data, measurements, and test results

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering design and project management
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Philippines is advantageous
