Civil Engineer

NR ASIA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support building construction, site engineering, and project coordination activities in Singapore.

The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable Singapore regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily site activities to support the smooth progress of construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning work schedules, tracking project progress, and coordinating site resources.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during construction and recommend practical solutions.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records, progress updates, and other project documentation.
• Monitor construction materials, workmanship, and site activities in accordance with project requirements.
• Support site safety practices and comply with applicable workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with testing, inspection, rectification, and handover activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in building construction, civil engineering, or site coordination is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction site procedures and quality control practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to work collaboratively with project teams and manage assigned tasks responsibly.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction standards and workplace safety requirements is preferred.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
