Civil Engineer - Construction

Role & responsibilities

• Reading GFC, structural, and architectural drawings together and catching clashes before they reach site
• Bar bending schedules computing and checking steel independently.
• Concrete works: pour planning, pour break locations, slump and cube testing, curing regime, cold joint handling
• Formwork and shuttering planning, including de-shuttering timelines
• Setting out total station and auto level, grid marking, column verticality, line and level control
• Daily progress reports, labour deployment, material reconciliation
• Subcontractor coordination and verification of their measurements before RA bills go up
• HSE and safety compliance

Preferred candidate profile

• Coordination across architects, MEP, and client teams
• Clear documentation and reporting
• Handling cost and schedule pressure without hiding problems
• For site roles, ability to communicate with workers in the local language - Kannada &Tamil , additionally Hindi is an added advantage.
