Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 1-5 years experience with a background in civil design work related to transportation. A successful candidate has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, enjoys working on multiple projects, and can work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation or modification of plans, specifications, report construction schedules, permits, and project design
• Applying standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a series of related steps or processes
• Preparing design computations and quantity estimates
• Assisting in the development of probable construction cost estimates for projects
• Design and layout of roadway and highway plans and details.
• Reviewing construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Completion of the FE exam, or intention to take it within the next 6 months
• Strong computer skills required, including a working knowledge of MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
