We are seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Engineer (Facilities Management) to join our team and oversee the management and continuous improvement of our facilities across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and monitoring external service providers to ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations and statutory requirements.
• Developing and implementing departmental budgets while driving cost control initiatives and improving maintenance efficiency and asset life cycle management.
• Overseeing the maintenance, repair, upgrading and construction of company buildings and infrastructure.
• Managing the performance and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, to ensure optimal operational reliability.
• Planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Managing contracts, tenders and vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and value for money.
• Analyzing maintenance data, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.
• Promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting facilities across East and West Malaysia, including travel as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or Construction Project Management.
• Strong experience in managing construction projects, contractors, contracts and tender processes.
• Good understanding of building maintenance systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection.
• Sound knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and compliance management systems.
• Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to travel across East and West Malaysia to support project and operational requirements.
