Civil Engineer – Factory Construction

About the role

PT WINGA GARMENT INDONESIA' is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and construction of our facilities in Central Java. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of our buildings, contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting site assessments and evaluations to determine project requirements and constraints
2. Overseeing the implementation of construction projects, including monitoring progress, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
3. Identifying and addressing potential design and construction challenges, proposing solutions to optimise project outcomes
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and operations personnel, to deliver successful projects
5. Providing technical support and advice to internal stakeholders on civil engineering matters
6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation for all civil engineering projects

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Proficient in Mandarin to coordinate with Chinese-speaking management, contractors, and stakeholders.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
5. Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply.
6. Strong technical skills in structural analysis, design, and project management
7. Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools
8. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
10. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
