CIVIL ENGINEER - FORMWORKS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Must be a Registered Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed) — active and in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years hands-on experience in formwork design, fabrication, erection, and inspection for building and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, load calculations, shoring, bracing, material selection, and safety standards
• Proficient in reading structural drawings, formwork details, and erection plans; familiar with AutoCAD and formwork design software
• Familiar with concrete pressure, stripping schedules, and structural safety requirements
• Must be willing to travel/relocate within or outside Metro Manila (within Luzon)
• With provided site accommodation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review structural drawings; prepare, check, or approve formwork designs, erection plans, and temporary support details
• Supervise fabrication, assembly, alignment, bracing, and anchoring of formworks for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and special structures
• Inspect formwork strength, rigidity, alignment, plumbness, and tightness before concrete placement
• Verify proper shoring, jacking, and load distribution to prevent deformation or failure
• Monitor concrete pouring progress; check for leaks, movement, or excessive deflection
• Establish and enforce safe stripping schedules based on concrete strength and structural requirements
• Resolve field issues; recommend repairs, modifications, or reinforcements to defective formworks
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards, structural codes, and project specifications
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and technical records
