Civil Engineer (Horizontal Development)

About the role

Oversee and supervise horizontal development works including subdivision roads, drainage systems, site grading, and utilities installation. Ensure all site activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise horizontal development works including subdivision roads, drainage systems, site grading, and utilities installation
• Ensure all site activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and project timelines
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers for smooth project execution
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management
• Review engineering drawings and provide technical recommendations and solutions to site issues
• Monitor materials usage, project costs, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with DPWH standards, National Building Code, and company policies
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation of construction strategies
• Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on project status and challenges

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred) or Non-Licensed with strong experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in horizontal development / land development projects
• Proven experience in subdivision road construction, drainage and stormwater systems, and site development and grading works
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation/reporting
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, site supervision, and quality control
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in real estate development projects is a strong advantage
• Willing to be assigned in Quezon City and nearby project sites
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment with minimal supervision
