Civil Engineer Officer

About the role

As a Civil Engineer Officer, you will ensure the condition of MHDC clinic physical facilities remains safe, optimal, and supports operational continuity. This position will be directly involved in clinic facility maintenance, civil works, renovation and construction of new clinics, utility and equipment inspection, vendor management, spare part procurement, and location investigation and feasibility studies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and inspection of facilities across all MHDC clinics
• Ensure branch facilities and equipment such as Dental Units, AC, generators, and related equipment function properly and meet standards
• Identify damage to facilities and equipment and handle repairs or coordinate with vendors for repairs and spare part replacement
• Replace damaged components or spare parts as needed
• Review plans for installation and dismantling of civil works at clinics
• Conduct civil planning for new clinic construction or renovation, including site investigation and feasibility studies
• Review designs and identify potential risks and hazards related to facilities
• Review electrical installation plans to ensure compliance with applicable specifications
• Procure spare parts, goods, and services needed to support clinic operations and facilities
• Maintain and manage inventory of company goods and facilities

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1 - 2 year experience in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building Maintenance, or Facility Management
• Understanding of basic planning, construction, renovation, and building maintenance
• Understanding of building utility systems such as electricity, AC, plumbing, and other support facilities
• Technical analysis and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors
• Able to conduct inspection and monitoring of field work
• Willing to travel to clinic branches for inspection and supervision
• Good communication, coordination, attention to detail, and responsibility
• Able to work with deadlines and project-based systems
