Civil Engineer Project Manager

• Structural Supervision: Oversee the construction of foundations, steel framing, roofing, and cladding for industrial structures and sheds.
• Blueprint Implementation: Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to set out levels, alignment, and marking on site.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of concrete pouring, rebar placement (bar bending schedule), and structural steel welding.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement safety protocols, check PPE compliance, and reduce hazards related to heavy machinery and high-altitude shed erection.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor daily work output against project milestones and report delays to upper management.
• Resource Management: Coordinate raw material deliveries, equipment allocation, and labor deployment. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Required Skills

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, concrete technology, and structural steel erection.
• Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing reviews and MS Office for daily reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making to resolve site conflicts, drawing discrepancies, or material shortages.
• Communication: Clear coordination with contractors, architects, laborers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on site execution experience, specifically in industrial structures, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), or shed construction.
