CIVIL ENGINEER / QUANTITY ESTIMATOR

Location: San Fernando, Cebu

Panico Construction & Development Corporation is looking for a Civil Engineer / Quantity Estimator to support our construction projects through accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and preparation of technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects
• Review plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Prepare BOQs, material estimates, and cost breakdowns
• Prepare and review shop drawings and construction drawings
• Use AutoCAD and other engineering software for quantity takeoff and project preparation
• Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and other project personnel
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and bid documents
• Monitor material requirements and help ensure accuracy of project estimates
• Perform other engineering and estimating duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• PRC License is an advantage but not required
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of other engineering/design software is an advantage
• Experience in quantity takeoff, estimating, and BOQ preparation is preferred
• Able to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural plans
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Organized, analytical, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Based in or willing to work in San Fernando, Cebu
• Willing to work in a construction environment and coordinate with project sites
