CIVIL ENGINEER (SITE)

About the role

Abraham International Process Engineering Corp. Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (Site) to join our dynamic team in the West Region. This is a full-time position where you will take a hands-on approach to site-based civil and structural engineering works. As a Civil Engineer (Site), you will play a crucial role in the delivery and execution of our engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications and regulatory requirements. This role offers direct involvement in project implementation and site management, making it essential to our operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil and structural works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings and safety regulations
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed records of construction progress, material testing and quality assurance
• Prepare and review site reports, documentation and as-built records for project deliverables
• Manage coordination between different trades, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Identify and resolve construction issues, deviations and discrepancies in real-time, escalating where necessary
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards on site, conducting safety briefings and audits as required
• Support the project team in budget and schedule management, reporting on site progress and milestones
• Conduct material and workmanship inspections, coordinating with testing laboratories and quality assurance teams
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities on site matters and approvals

What we're looking for

• Poly Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in site-based civil or structural engineering works
• Proven experience in project execution, construction supervision and site management
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction methodologies and safety standards
• Proficiency in site documentation, as-built drawings and quality control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Professional registration or membership with relevant engineering bodies is advantageous
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
