Civil Engineer – Building Construction Site

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute day-to-day civil and building construction activities at site.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and site teams.
• Monitor RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, flooring and other building construction activities.
• Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Read and interpret civil drawings, structural drawings and construction plans.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment required for site activities.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
• Coordinate with the planning and project teams to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Check measurements and support preparation of quantity/BOQ records.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures at the construction site.
• Monitor work progress and report delays or deviations to management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of building construction and civil site execution.
• Good knowledge of RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry and finishing works.
• Ability to read civil and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements and BOQ.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic construction software.
• Strong site supervision, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
