Civil Engineer – Villa & Individual House Projects

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Reporting To: Project / Management Team

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate villa and individual house construction projects, ensuring work is completed as per quality, design, schedule, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
• Handle villa and individual house construction works from execution to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, suppliers, and other site personnel.
• Check quality of materials and construction work.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Read and understand civil drawings and coordinate execution accordingly.
• Prepare basic material requirements and support project estimation when required.
• Maintain site measurements, records, and daily work updates.
• Have basic knowledge of liaisoning and coordination with local authorities.
• Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper safety and housekeeping at the project site.
• Travel/work at company project locations as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Experience in villa / individual house projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of liaisoning and local authority coordination.
• Good knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Should be willing to travel and work at company project locations outside Chennai when required.
• Should be responsible, proactive, and capable of independently handling site activities.
