Civil Engineer Supervisor

About the role

Civil Engineer Supervisor with experience and expertise in leading civil engineering teams to oversee and control construction projects. This position is important to ensure that the company's important construction projects proceed according to safety standards, quality, and schedule, with leadership that is responsible and has decision-making authority.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering teams and workers, managing work plans, compliance with requirements, and performance evaluation
• Inspect and control the quality of construction work, structures, and materials to comply with drawings, specifications, and standards
• Manage safety in the workplace, comply with health and safety laws and occupational diseases, including providing protective equipment and training
• Coordinate with project owners, supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues and resolve project obstacles
• Document and report project progress, budget usage, and technical issues

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience in structural engineering and construction of not less than 2-3 years, with at least 1-2 years in a management or supervisory position
• Knowledge of drawings, engineering specifications, and construction contracts, with skills in reading drawings and cost estimation
• Quality engineer certification (preferred)
• Expertise in BIM software or project planning systems (preferred)
• Ability to manage teams and administration
• Communication skills, problem-solving, and risk management in construction projects
