  • Build a financially strong and sustainable practice by managing budgets, schedules, risk, performance, and growth goals
  • Develop, mentor, and empower project managers and engineers, creating opportunities for others to grow alongside the practice
  • Foster collaboration across local and regional offices, connecting people, ideas, and technical expertise to deliver exceptional work
  • Encourage staff engagement in professional societies, networking, and industry leadership to expand visibility and strengthen relationships
  • Represent the firm as an established transportation leader at client meetings, industry events, professional organizations, and strategic pursuits

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or another applicable field required
  • 15+ years of transportation industry experience, including a strong understanding of project delivery from pursuit through completion
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to grow business, develop opportunities, and maintain a strong network of client and industry relationships in the civil engineering sector
  • Strong understanding of consulting industry practices, project delivery, and client service excellence
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, coordinating resources, and driving organizational performance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, foster collaboration, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients, teams, and industry partners
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset with the confidence to take initiative, make connections, and turn opportunities into results
  • Servant leadership approach grounded in collaboration, integrity, innovation, excellence, and a commitment to developing others
