Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating civil engineering and construction works. The role involves monitoring site activities, reviewing technical drawings, ensuring quality and safety standards, and working closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities.
2. Monitor project progress, work schedules, and site operations.
3. Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
4. Ensure construction works comply with quality standards and safety requirements.
5. Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
6. Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
7. Prepare site reports and project progress updates.
8. Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
9. Assist in project planning and ensure timely completion of works.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience is an advantage.
3. Knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and project coordination.
4. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
6. Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
7. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Willing to travel to construction sites when required.
9. Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
