Civil Engineering Intern (Airfields) - Summer 2027

The Opportunity RS&H is currently seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team. This position will work in-office in our Ontario, California location. As part of the Aviation Infrastructure team, you'll gain great experience on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.

To Be Successful In This Internship, You Must

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Candidate must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Candidate must be able to report to Ontario, CA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or related experience
• Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars
• Specific interest in Aviation Infrastructure

The typical pay rate for this position in Ontario, CA is $25 – $29 per hour and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. #WayUp
