Civil Engineering Intern

Sector/Industry: Construction (High-rise project)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project and site team in daily construction activities and site coordination.
• Assist in monitoring site progress and ensuring work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
• Assist with site inspections, measurements, and basic documentation.
• Support engineers and supervisors in preparing reports, records, and project documentation.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project team members when required.
• Attend site meetings and assist with recording site updates and action items.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and site requirements.
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or project team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and engineering principles.
• Willing to learn and work in a site/construction environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Responsible, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
• Minimum internship duration of 6 months.
