Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering projects
• Prepare and negotiate project proposals, scopes, and contracts
• Develop project schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocations
• Lead site development design efforts including grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, and roadway design
• Provide oversight and support during construction phases
• Review engineering calculations, technical reports, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate closely with engineering, drafting, and multidisciplinary design teams
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies throughout project lifecycles
• Monitor project budgets, invoicing, change requests, and additional service opportunities
• Support permit review responses and construction administration activities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering project management experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with design teams
• Strong client relationship and business communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
