Civil Engineering Technical Assistant cum Draughtman

About the role

Jurutera Perunding Alphareka (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineering Technical Assistant cum Draughtman to join our growing engineering team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects from conception through to completion. You will work closely with senior engineers, providing essential technical support and producing high-quality construction drawings that form the backbone of our project delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain practical experience in a dynamic engineering consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings and technical plans using industry-standard CAD software

• Assist in the preparation of tender drawings

• Familiar with preparations of Civil Engineering drawings such as earthwork, road drainage, sewerage and water supply drawings for authority submissions and tender.

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, with the ability to produce professional technical drawings
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methods, and building practices
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, clearly dimensioned drawings
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines under pressure
• Preferred experience in a consulting engineering environment
