Civil Engineer/project manager

Core Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee natural stone projects from start to completion.
2. Site Inspection: Conduct site visits, verify measurements, and assess site readiness.
3. Technical Coordination: Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and coordinate shop drawings and approvals.
4. Material Procurement: Coordinate stone selection, material availability, and delivery schedules.
5. Production Coordination: Supervise fabrication schedules, cutting, finishing, and quality checks.
6. Installation Supervision: Manage site teams and ensure proper installation of marble, travertine, limestone, and quartzite.
7. Quality Control: Ensure materials and workmanship meet approved specifications and quality standards.
8. Cost and Budget Control: Monitor project costs, material wastage, labour, and variations.
9. Team Coordination: Coordinate with QS, sales, procurement, factory, and site teams.
10. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and safe material handling.
11. Progress Reporting: Monitor project timelines, report progress, and resolve delays.
12. Project Handover: Manage snagging, rectification, final inspections, and handover documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
2. 5–10 years of experience in marble, natural stone, or fit-out projects.
3. Strong knowledge of stone fabrication, installation, shop drawings, and site measurements.
4. Experience in project planning, cost control, and site supervision.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. UAE construction experience and a valid UAE driving licence preferred.
8. Ability to manage projects independently from site inspection to final handover
