Civil Estimation Engineer

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope and conditions.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, bid documents, and project proposals.
• Monitor cost trends and provide feedback on project budgeting and forecasting.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in civil estimating or related construction roles.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, Plan Swift, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
