Civil Estimator

Job Summary

The Civil Estimator is responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. The role involves assessing labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and project risks to support competitive bidding and project budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil works including earthworks, roads, drainage systems, utilities, and structural components.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare bid proposals, tender submissions, and cost reports.
• Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, architects, and clients during the estimation process.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical project records.
• Assist in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards, project specifications, and industry regulations.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
