WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements
• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil and site development projects
• Perform earthwork takeoffs and analyze quantities
• Visit project sites and attend meetings as needed
• Analyze project data, costs, and metrics
• Develop reliable estimates and forecasts
• Evaluate project risks and potential costs
• Review and analyze vendor and subcontractor proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare estimates and reports for management review
• Work closely with operations and project teams to support successful bids

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience estimating heavy civil or site development projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Experience performing earthwork takeoffs
• Experience with Agtek preferred
• Experience with digitizing software required
• Experience with Hard Dollar, HCSS HeavyBid, Timberline preferred
• Similar Estimating Software required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will be considered
