What These Roles Involve

• Preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions across civil construction scopes.
• Reviewing and interpreting project documentation, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and assess pricing for civil packages.
• Supporting bid strategy, risk identification, and value engineering during the tender phase.
• Liaising with project, commercial, and design teams to ensure submissions are technically sound.
• Managing multiple concurrent tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced estimating environment.
• Contributing to post-tender reviews and continuous improvement of estimating processes.

What You Can Bring

• Proven experience as a Civil Estimator within a contracting environment — essential.
• Background across energy infrastructure, defence, or commercial civil construction highly regarded.
• Strong ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Proficiency in estimating software and strong MS Excel capability.
• Commercially astute with a solid understanding of subcontractor and supplier markets.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Based in Adelaide or willing to relocate.
