CSL Hamilton is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Foreman to lead site teams across a range of civil construction projects for local councils and private clients.

About the Role

As Civil Foreman, you’ll be responsible for hands on, day to day leadership and coordination of a site crew, ensuring civil works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating civil site crews
• Take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of daily site operations
• Planning and overseeing daily works, plant, and resources
• Leading trenching, earthworks, pavement, and reinstatement works
• Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring site safety compliance
• Drive a strong safety culture by conducting toolbox meetings, identifying and managing site risks, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Completing site documentation, reporting, and daily records
• Setting the standard for professionalism, teamwork, and site culture

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand in civil construction
• Extensive experience as a Civil Foreman or Senior Leading Hand delivering complex civil infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid hands-on experience in trenching, earthworks, and reinstatement
• Advanced hands-on expertise in trenching, earthworks, underground services, and reinstatement, with a proven track record of delivering work to specification
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality requirements
• Ability to read plans, manage daily programs, and coordinate resources
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong work ethic
• A highly motivated, results-driven attitude with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard
