Civil Foreman

Job Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all day-to-day civil construction operations on site
• Read, interpret, and work from architectural, structural, and shop drawings accurately
• Monitor and coordinate steel fixer (rebar) work — ensure correct bar bending schedules, spacing, cover, and placement as per drawings
• Monitor and supervise carpenter/shuttering work — formwork alignment, levels, and dismantling sequence
• Allocate daily tasks to laborers, steel fixers, carpenters, and other site workers; ensure manpower is used efficiently
• Ensure work is executed as per specifications, drawings, and approved method statements
• Coordinate with site engineer/site supervisor on work progress, material requirements, and any drawing clarifications
• Check quality of work at each stage (formwork, reinforcement, concreting) before handing over for inspection
• Ensure housekeeping, safety practices, and PPE compliance are followed on site at all times
• Maintain daily progress records, manpower logs, and material consumption reports
• Identify and report any discrepancies between drawings and site conditions to the site engineer
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials on site are used and stored properly
• Support the site team in achieving daily/weekly targets and project deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman in construction/building projects
• Strong ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings
• Hands-on experience supervising steel fixing and carpentry/shuttering work
• Good understanding of concrete work, reinforcement standards, and formwork systems
• Ability to manage and direct site labor effectively
• Basic knowledge of site safety practices
• Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and workers

Preferred:

• Candidate with own UAE visa (visa not provided by company)
• Immediate availability preferred

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED3,400.00 per month
