Civil Foreman

• Supervise civil workers; plan, schedule and organize workloads and staff assignments; train and motivate assigned staff
• Provide leadership and direction in the development of short- and long-range plans
• Assist civil supervisors; communicate plans, policies, and procedures to staff in assigned area of responsibility
• Assure assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget; and effective and efficient use of personnel, materials, facilities, and time are utilized
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow; study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned work and administrative operation
• Issue written and oral instructions; assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties; adjust errors and complaints
• Prepare and maintain daily reports and records as assigned
• Oversee and inspect; adjust and replace necessary units and related parts in the performance of repair work
• Oversee and evaluate the status of craft equipment and perform or schedule the needed repair
• Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
