Civil Lab Technician

We are looking for a Civil Lab Technician with experience in construction materials testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates while ensuring compliance with relevant ASTM, BS, and AASHTO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Prepare, handle, and test material samples according to approved standards.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Record test results accurately and prepare test reports.
• Ensure all testing is carried out in accordance with ASTM, BS, and AASHTO standards.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors regarding testing activities.
• Assist in quality control and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1**–5 years** of experience in a civil/material testing laboratory.
• Good knowledge of ASTM, BS, and AASHTO testing standards.
• Experience in testing soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment independently.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
