Experience & Knowledge

Sound knowledge and practical experience in property-related matters, including:Title verification

Sale deeds and property documents

Patta, EC and revenue matters

Land disputes and encroachments

Registration and other property-related legal issues

Good knowledge of recovery of customer outstanding dues, including legal notices and recovery proceedings.

Good knowledge of civil litigation and court procedures.

Ability to coordinate effectively with advocates, courts, government authorities and customers.Drafting Skills

Excellent legal drafting skills.

Ability to independently prepare:

Legal notices

Replies to notices

Agreements and undertakings

Petitions/applications

Statements and other legal correspondence

Additional Skills

Good working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.

Good command of English and Tamil, both written and spoken.

Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.

Ability to independently handle legal matters and provide timely updates to management.

Key Responsibilities

Handle the company's property and land-related legal matters.

Follow up on customer outstanding recovery and initiate appropriate legal action.

Draft legal notices, replies, agreements and court-related documents.

Coordinate with external advocates and monitor pending cases.

Maintain a proper legal case/document tracker in Excel.

Review property documents and identify legal risks.

Liaise with revenue, registration and other government authorities.

Provide regular MIS/status reports to management on legal cases and recovery matters.
