Civil Maintenance Engineer – Waterproofing & Building Maintenance

Enaara Facilitation Services is seeking an experienced for it's site Office Madison Square Mall, Rawalpindi. We are looking for adetail-oriented Civil Maintenance Engineer to manage and supervise ongoing civil maintenance and rectification work at Madison Square Mall, Rawalpindi.

The ideal candidate must possess strong practical experience in waterproofing systems, leakage root-cause analysis, finishing work rectifications, and building maintenance. You will also be responsible for drafting basic architectural/civil layout adjustments and details using AutoCAD, supervising contractors/onsite teams, and ensuring high-quality, durable repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Diagnostics: Inspect building facilities regularly to identify civil maintenance defects. Diagnose the true root causes of water leakage, seepage, dampness, and structural cracks before initiating repairs.
• Waterproofing Management: Plan, supervise, and verify waterproofing applications across roofs, terraces, basements, washrooms, water tanks, planters, and retaining walls.
• Finishing Rectifications: Manage repair works related to plaster, masonry, tile/marble resetting, painting, false ceilings, door alignments, joint sealants, and expansion joints.
• AutoCAD & Documentation: Prepare and update basic civil layouts, shop drawings, maintenance modification plans, and repair detail sketches using AutoCAD.
• Contractor & Team Supervision: Direct daily activities of maintenance technicians and external contractors to ensure project timelines and quality specifications are met.
• Estimation & Material Control: Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and material requisitions. Inspect material quality and monitor on-site usage to minimize wastage.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Operations teams to resolve overlapping issues involving plumbing lines, drainage, HVAC condensation, or structural penetrations.
• Preventive Maintenance & Reporting: Develop preventive maintenance schedules, maintain defect tracking logs, and submit clear daily/weekly progress reports to management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong practical knowledge of building civil maintenance, repair methodologies, and finishing works.
• Expertise in modern waterproofing techniques, including PU injection/grouting, cementitious coatings, torch-on membranes, liquid membranes, and polysulfide sealants.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting, layout updates, and detail repair sketches.
• Hands-on skills in leakage tracing, crack injection, joint sealing, and stone/tile restoration.
• Solid contractor management, site supervision, and safety compliance leadership.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: DAE Civil / B.Tech Civil / BE Civil Engineering
• Technical Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil/Architectural drafting) is required.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in building civil maintenance and specialized waterproofing.
• Candidates with direct experience in commercial building or mall maintenance will be given preference.
