What you'll actually be doing

Jumping between excavators, loaders, graders and dozers across bulk earthworks, drill pad preparation, road and camp construction, haul road maintenance, stormwater drainage and mine site rehabilitation. If you've got final trim experience on GPS, Trimble or TopCon, that's your chance to show off. You'll work from plans and specs, handle basic servicing and minor repairs on your gear, and keep your paperwork square.

Someone who gets bored doing one thing all day. You like variety in your swing as much as your machine, you're precise when precision matters (final trim isn't the place to eyeball it), and you're just as handy with a service manual as a joystick.

What you'll need

Relevant Mobile Plant tickets or VOCs, a valid HR driver's licence (HC/MC desirable), a Construction Induction Card, current National Police Clearance and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Experience with 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes is a bonus, and you'll need to be comfortable enough with Microsoft Office to keep your daily compliance paperwork tidy.
