Civil Project Engineer / Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civil Project Engineer Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project delivery, including programme, cost, quality, safety, resources, subcontractors, and coordination with the Consultant, Client, and relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the overall execution of civil construction projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and maintain project programmes, schedules, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against approved programme and identify potential delays.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, resources, manpower, materials, and plant requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure their work is completed in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and the Client/Consultant.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Attend progress, coordination, and technical meetings and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Lead the project team and ensure effective communication between all departments.
• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained throughout the project.
• Drive the project toward successful completion within the approved time, cost, and quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager on civil or building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contracts, and project controls.
• Experience working with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• UAE/GCC construction experience.
