Civil Project Estimator / PM

Job Summary
This Project Estimator will need to be Accomplished Confident Person who hasn't met a stranger, personable however can stand there ground when put on the spot.

As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry by analyzing project requirements, Specs, Documents, Drawings, Time Lines as well as providing accurate cost estimates to ensure successful project completion. A Familiarity with Bidding Software, Trimble Systems and other relevant computer savvy knowledge is a must.

Duties

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications
• Utilize Construction estimating software such as Bid 2 Win to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process using in house software associated with Trimble business center
• Assist in contract preparation and review
• Conduct on-site visits to assess construction sites and gather necessary information

-Familiar with Bonding and Alabama Bid processes

Skills

• Proficiency in Construction management principles
• Strong understanding of Project management techniques
• Excellent Construction estimating skills and ability to work with a TEAM
• Ability to build accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Knowledge of Cost control methods in the construction industry
• Familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation tactics
• Experience with Bid 2 Win software is a plus or other construction estimating softwares

-Microsoft Suite Experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle pricing discussions effectively
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software and Bid 2 Win for accurate cost estimation
• Knowledge of construction site operations and contracts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for successful project execution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,056.00 - $150,000.00 per year
