Civil Site Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure and district cooling projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil and infrastructure works, including excavation, trenching, shoring, dewatering, pipeline corridors, chambers, concrete structures, road crossings, and reinstatement works. The role involves close coordination with mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, survey, subcontractor, consultant, and client teams to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, quality standards, and project schedules.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure or pipeline projects.
• Proven experience in district cooling, chilled water pipeline, or underground utility projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of excavation, trenching, shoring, dewatering, bedding, backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement.
• Experience in construction of valve chambers, drain chambers, air valve chambers, manholes, thrust blocks, and concrete structures.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, profiles, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Experience coordinating with surveyors for setting out, levels, coordinates, alignment, and invert levels.
• Knowledge of existing underground utilities, utility protection, road crossings, asphalt, paving, and reinstatement works.
• Experience coordinating with mechanical teams for chilled water and district cooling pipeline installation.
• Strong coordination experience with subcontractors, consultants, QA/QC, HSE, and site teams.
• Ability to monitor manpower, equipment, materials, progress, and site productivity.
• Familiarity with inspection requests, daily progress reports, material requests, and site documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality, HSE, and construction compliance requirements.
• Good planning, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.

Experience:

• District cooling & chilled water pipeline utility projects: 3 years (Preferred)
