Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction activities on site, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong site execution experience, good technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at site.
• Ensure construction works are executed according to approved IFC/shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials and site productivity.
• Ensure proper setting-out and execution of civil works.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate Inspection Requests with the relevant parties.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved quality requirements.
• Identify technical and site-related problems and coordinate suitable solutions.
• Coordinate civil works with architectural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and work progress.
• Maintain daily site records and prepare progress reports.
• Support project planning, material requirements and resource coordination.
• Assist with snagging, testing, completion and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of relevant civil construction/site experience.
• UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant construction software is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in UAE building construction projects, particularly those who have worked directly with consultants, subcontractors and project management teams, will be preferred.
