Civil site engineer

Role and responsibilities,

• Site execution: Supervise daily activities such as excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
• Drawing review: Study architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and ensure work is carried out according to the latest approved drawings.
• Setting out: Verify dimensions, levels, grid lines, coordinates, slopes, and elevations before construction.
• Manpower management: Allocate labor and coordinate subcontractors to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Material management: Estimate requirements, raise material requests, check deliveries, and minimize wastage.
• Quality control: Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, finishes, etc., and ensure compliance with specifications and approved methods.
• Concrete works: Check reinforcement, cover, formwork, embedded items, concrete grade, slump, cube samples, pouring, compaction, and curing.
• Quantity checking: Calculate executed quantities for concrete, steel, blockwork, plastering, excavation, and other works.
• Billing support: Prepare/check measurements, BOQ quantities, subcontractor bills, and client billing records where required.
• Planning and progress: Monitor actual progress against the schedule and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project manager.
• Inspections: Raise inspection requests and obtain consultant/client approvals before proceeding to subsequent activities.
• Safety: Ensure workers follow PPE, permit-to-work, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, and other site safety requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain site diaries, inspection records, test reports, checklists, concrete records, material records, and drawing revisions.
• Problem solving: Identify drawing conflicts, constructability issues, delays, and site problems and coordinate solutions before they affect progress.
• Handover: Assist with snagging/punch lists, rectification, as-built information, testing, final inspections, and project handover.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
