Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to own the project lifecycle, from evaluating and acquiring land to construction, approvals, and handover. You will work across villas, high-rise, plotted developments, and commercial projects, and act as the company's single point of execution and coordination on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate large land parcels; conduct site visits and assess topography, soil, access, utilities, and development potential
Support land acquisition: title and document verification, survey and boundary demarcation, liaison with landowners, brokers, and legal advisors, and coordination of registration and mutation
¢ Coordinate with legal teams on due diligence, encumbrances, land-use conversion, and dispute resolution
¢ Plan and supervise all site activities per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and schedule across project types: layout development, roads, and infrastructure for plotted projects; foundations to finishing for villas, high-rise, and commercial buildings
¢ Manage contractors, subcontractors, and labour; resolve technical issues and escalate where needed
¢ Prepare work plans, track progress against targets, and submit daily and weekly progress reports to management
¢ Measure work, verify contractor bills, and control cost, material consumption, and wastage
¢ Raise material requirements, inspect incoming materials, and maintain stock and store records
¢ Conduct quality checks and maintain test records, inspection checklists, and snag lists
¢ Enforce safety norms, PPE usage, and statutory compliance on site
¢ Obtain approvals, NOCs, inspections, and completion/occupancy certificates from municipal, town planning, fire, electricity, water, pollution control, and RERA authorities
¢ Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, PMC, neighbours, and local stakeholders
¢ Maintain organized records of all land documents, permissions, correspondence, and approvals
¢ Prepare for customer inspections and snagging, and manage handover with as-built drawings and documentation
Required Qualifications
¢ B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with strong experience may be considered)
¢ Proven experience in plotted development & commercial projects
¢ Working knowledge of land records, revenue documents, building bye-laws, and RERA norms
Skills & Competencies
¢ Strong negotiation and communication skills with landowners, authorities, and vendors
¢ Sound knowledge of drawings, estimation, and construction methods
¢ Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; MS Project/Primavera is a plus
¢ Ability to manage multiple projects, pressure, and deadlines
¢ Proactive, accountable, and comfortable with field work and frequent travel
¢ Knowledge of the local language preferred
