Civil Site Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising construction activities on site and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality and safety standards, and the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and review engineering drawings and ensure proper understanding of execution details.
• Supervise daily site activities and ensure that all works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor concrete works, reinforcement steel, footings, foundations, and structural works.
• Calculate and review quantities, payment claims, and costs related to completed works.
• Follow up and manage the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure the quality of materials and executed works and verify their compliance with required specifications and standards.
• Monitor the project schedule and progress percentage and ensure that work is progressing according to the approved plan.
• Coordinate continuously with the Architectural, MEP, Consultant, and Contractor teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and progress reports.
• Monitor completed works and report technical issues and observations to management and the consultant when required.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements on site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor the manpower, materials, and equipment required for site activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction and coordinate with the relevant parties to find appropriate solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum [3] years of practical experience in construction and working as a Site Engineer.
• Good experience in construction and building projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, reinforcement steel, footings, foundations, and structural works.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and shop drawings.
• Experience in quantity calculation, measurements, and quantity verification.
• Good communication and coordination skills with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong commitment, discipline, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make appropriate decisions on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

• Civil Site Engineer: 3 years (Preferred)
