The Civil QE / Site Civil Quality Engineer is responsible for conducting site quality inspections, ensuring civil works comply with approved drawings and project specifications, inspecting foundations, piling, reinforcement, concrete works, tower installation, and related connections. The role identifies quality issues, coordinates corrective actions with subcontractors, verifies site records, and represents ZTE in civil construction quality supervision and management.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site quality inspections to ensure subcontractors follow the approved drawings and project requirements.
• Inspect the construction quality of both isolated foundations and pile foundations, including excavation, piling, rebar, formwork, HD bolts, concrete, backfilling, and earthing.
• Inspect key materials and construction quality, including basic knowledge of Slump Test and Cube Test requirements.
• Check tower installation, tower-to-foundation connections, bolts, tower verticality, and other basic installation quality requirements.
• Identify quality issues in a timely manner, require subcontractors to rectify them, and follow up on closure to minimize rework.
• Check site construction records and relevant quality documents to ensure they are consistent with the actual site conditions.
• Represent ZTE in on-site quality supervision and management of civil subcontractors.

Basic Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Civil / Telecom Tower / BTS / Small Cell projects is preferred.
• Able to read and understand basic Civil / Foundation Drawings.
• Basic knowledge of isolated foundations, pile foundations, rebar, and concrete works.
• Basic experience in site quality inspection and subcontractor management.
• Willing and able to work on site on a daily basis.
• Basic English communication skills.
