CIVIL SITE SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities

1.     Site Operations & Coordination:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of general workers, machinery operators, and sub-contractors on-site.
• Ensure all civil works—including earthworks, concrete structures, drainage, piling, and infrastructure—are executed according to technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Manage and log the receipt of construction materials and equipment on-site to minimize wastage and avoid operational delays.

2.     Quality Control & Timeline Management:

• Conduct regular inspections of ongoing workmanship to ensure it meets the company’s strict quality benchmarks and client expectations.
• Monitor project milestones daily to ensure the construction timeline aligns with the schedule set by the Project Manager or Project Engineer.

3.     Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Enforce site safety rules strictly, ensuring all workers and sub-contractors wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Identify and immediately report any structural risks, safety hazards, or incidents to management for prompt corrective action.

4.     Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate daily site diaries and progress reports, documenting manpower strength, weather conditions, materials received, and work accomplished.
• Highlight any technical discrepancies, design clashes, or delays to the Project Engineer or Site Manager immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

1.     Education: Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

2.     Experience: Prior experience supervising infrastructure, structural, or building projects is highly valued. (Fresh graduates with a strong drive to learn are welcome to apply).

3.     Technical Skills:

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference civil and structural (C&S) drawings accurately.
• Solid baseline knowledge of civil construction methodologies, material standards, and structural concrete works.

4.     Soft Skills:

• Robust leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse on-site workforce.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset capable of handling fast-paced challenges on the ground.
• Must possess a valid driving license and own transport for site mobility.
