Civil / Structural Design Engineer

Location: Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural calculations, design details, and coordinated shop drawings for concrete, steel, and foundations.
• Perform structural load assessments in accordance with applicable project codes and standards.
• Coordinate structural interfaces with architectural, equipment, and building-services layouts.
• Prepare technical submissions, RFIs, and purchase specifications.
• Review and evaluate technical offers and supplier submissions.
• Review supplier drawings in coordination with the Supply Chain team.
• Provide technical support for site queries and construction-related issues.
• Support the preparation and review of as-built structural records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Civil/Structural Design and Technical Office work.
• Strong experience in reinforced-concrete and structural-steel design.
• Hands-on experience in foundation design and structural calculations.
• Experience in shop-drawing coordination and construction support.
• Good knowledge of applicable project codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or STAAD.Pro.
• BIM coordination experience is preferred.
• Good technical English and reporting skills.
